Liberals Admit Donations/Judicial Appointments Linked

That's the word from Federal Justice Minister Irwin Cotler. But Cotler says there's nothing to suggest a judicial candidate is favourable to one political party or another ... Cotler added there is no proof that partisan activity plays a role in nominating judges to a federal bench.

Ummm ...O.K. .... I'll take your word for that ...

I mean it's not like giving a donation to the Liberal party and getting appointed as judge, at least partly due to the donation, that could lead to any kind of influence. That'a just not the way the Liberal Party operates.
