CPP death squad??

So the CPP investment board think tobacco companies are a good investment. Are they looking for short term returns on their investment or have they determined that over the long term the more Canadians that die of lung cancer the less the CPP fund has to pay out?

If this is the case, should they lobby to get rid of the firearms center so that more Canadians can be murdered by kill happy farmers and turkey hunters?
